Clue Detective Puzzle Agency Promotes the Benefits of Solving Puzzles and Digital Literacy for Public Library Patrons

The Clue Detective Puzzle Agency (CDPA) is extremely passionate about promoting the benefits of solving puzzles to people of all ages.

The Agency has created their very own online puzzle portal, which contains hundreds of original crosswords, codewords and Sudoku.  By visiting the Clue Detective’s Online Puzzle Portal, members login to play puzzles, all of which can be solved on a PC, laptop or tablet.  New puzzles are added on a regular basis.

Catherine Eagleson, Founder and Creative Director of CDPA, says “The CDPA’s Online Puzzle Portal is a wonderful tool for improving digital literacy.  It is being used as an
e-learning resource in many public libraries around Australia with a great deal of success…

Library patrons can solve puzzles individually or as a group.  A highly effective way to use the portal is to connect a laptop to a large flat screen.  It is great fun, and puzzlers find that working together to solve puzzles is very beneficial…” Ms. Eagleson says

A 30 day free trial for the Clue Detective Online Puzzle Portal is available to enable you to evaluate the product for use in your organisation.

The Clue Detective Online Puzzle Portal can be fully integrated with a library’s management system, using EZProxy or the SIP-2 protocol.  Patrons can login using their library (card) barcode.  They can choose to solve puzzles in the library or remotely using their tablet.  They can login into your library’s website and use the resource from wherever they choose – when they are in a train, on a plane or under a tree.  It is like having the library in their pocket or backpack. Great online puzzles are totally accessible!
